Our training centre consists of a range of domestic and operational buildings built in a traditional Spanish Mediterranean style, which were refurbished to house the new AEROFAN Flight Training Facility. AEROFAN Flying college was founded in 1992 by its current Chairman. In 1994 it started its first Airline Transport Pilot Course and since 2001 it is an official JAR-FCL flying training organisation approved by the Spanish Civil Aviation Authority. New standards of professionalism, fleet quality and instructor standardisation have been set.
All of AEROFAN's staff are selected individually and undergo comprehensive instructor training at our Commercial Pilot Training Centre ensuring the highest level of standardised instruction throughout the flying school. All our Pilot Instructors are EU licensed and hold Professional JAA Pilot Licences. At AEROFAN we are proud to be able to offer you an unrivalled range of services including aeroplane tuition - from introductory lessons to gaining a Commercial and Airline Transport Pilot's Licence. This is linked to our extensive ground facilities including maintenance and hangarage.

At AEROFAN, our students are able to train in a unique aviation environment with a first-class International airport and exceptional recreational, sport and social facilities. Cuatro Vientos airport is well equipped for commercial operations handling several hundred flights per week. With hard surface aircraft ramps and taxiways, together with ready access to airspace appropriate to the flying task, the trainee pilot is immediately placed in a realistic operational environment.
